 Woman's 2010 Cambridgeshire County CHampionships
Huntingdon Gymnastics Club held the Women’s 2010 Cambridgeshire County Championships this weekend and the day was a Great success for the Huntingdon squad girls.
 
In level 4 section Hannah Morris (9 years) took gold, club mate Ailsa Wilson won silver.In level three, 10 year old competitor Lottie Smith took the 1st place trophy and Carrie Walker came second. Rebecca Morris took gold in level 2 and Won the trophy of the highest score of the day.
The remaining categories were qualifying competitions for the regional final in Ipswich in October.
 
Congratulations go to Tilly Allen, Katie Reynolds, Lauren Sparrow, Maddy Young and Hannah Philips who all won the 1st place trophy and gold medal in their sections and qualify along with other Huntingdon club mate Inola Browne who won silver and Amber Lowe who was placed 3rd in her category. The Club also won the overall team trophy for levels 4 and 3.
 
The County coach was very impressed with the results and would like to thank the team of dedicated squad coaches at the club for the success and wishes the girls Good luck for the final.

Fourteen boys from Huntingdon Gym Club took part in the British Championships, held in London this weekend. The competition proved a tough field with the highest number of entrants in modern history. So much so that an extra day had to be introduced to fit everybody in!  

On Friday the 31st October it was the turn of the U12’s to show their skills. Huntingdon gymnasts Harrison Cooper-Lewis, William Mas and first time competitor Benji Eyre put in brave performances and competed admirably in a field of over 70 gymnasts.
