Womans 2009 Level 5 County Championships
Huntingdon Gymnastics Club held the Women’s 2009 Cambridgeshire level 5 County Championships this weekend and the day was a Great success for the Huntingdon squad girls ...
Lauren Sparrow took the 13+ years trophy, team mates Victoria Alexander won silver and Sophie Woodhead Bronze. Alice Lunn won the trophy in the 9-10 years age group, Tilly Allen took the silver and Rhiannon Anderson the Bronze. Kye Rochelle Harris won the Bronze medal in the 11-12 years category. The Team from Huntingdon consisting of Lauren Sparrow, Phoebe Pleasants, Tilly Allen and Victoria Alexander won the team competition and Phoebe Pleasants won the Don Greer trophy for the highest score of the day on an apparatus which was 12.15 for her Floor routine.
The County Coach, Rebecca Chapman was very impressed with the results and would like to thank the team of dedicated squad coaches at the club for the success and sends thanks to the team of parents at the club who helped run the competition
